Only 4 more days until the official start of summer and the much awaited Movement Electronic Musical Festival 2011 also known as DEMF. Pre-Movement parties have already started throughout the city and well-known international and national artists and DJs have started to pour into the Motor city as they prepare for another sensational electronic festival.

Did you know that Techno music started in Detroit?  That’s right! Imported right from Detroit. Mi Estilo Magazine will be at this international event to cover all three days of the festival and bring you the highlights.  Year after year techno heads, house heads and electronic dance music fanatics like me gather at Detroit’s Hart Plaza to hear all of the great sounds. Last year’s attendance reached nearly 90,000. This year is set to be another outstanding one.

Starting at noon on Saturday, May 28, 2011 you can check out and experience 36 hours of music and more than 70 electronic music artists and DJs including our very own local DJs at Detroit’s Hart Plaza.
