The Smashing Pumpkins are scheduled to perform on October 15th, after a layoff of a few years.  The show will be at the The Fillmore Detroit.

Smashing Pumpkins is the American alternative rock band that was originally formed in Chicago, Illinois in 1988.  They became well-known during the ’90s grunge movement and became one of the most highly regarded bands of their generation.

Some of their hits, among many, include “Zero,” “Cherub Rock,” Drown” and “1979.”
