Wayne State University’s Center of Latino/a and Latin American Studies presents the Third Annual La Academia del Pueblo on Monday, April 23, 2012 from 8:30-7:00PM in WSU’s McGregor Hall.

This event has a variety of sessions and panels that will discuss urban revitalization issues in Latino/a communities such as:

Urban Agriculture & Greening
Community Leadership & Engagement
Latin American Immigration to Urban America
Urban Infrastructure
Activism & Public Policy
Economic Development & Entrepreneurism
Urban Latino/a Culture & Identity
